Friday 19th from 7.30pm Black Horse, Heswall
Good chance for early arrivals to meet up and bring back some old memories of bad singing and dodgy beer. Song sheets will be available on line in case you’ve forgotten the words.
Saturday 20th from 11am at Heswall Methodist Church Hall & Venture House
Coffee & chat. Venture House won’t be big enough for all of us so the church hall will be open as well. Saturday pm is for friends and family. Alternatively gather in The Black Horse or a ‘midnight hike’ in the afternoon if fine weather!
Saturday 20th from 7pm - 2:00am Main Event at Craxton Wood
Early start at 7pm when there will be a reception and time to meet up and talk with friends from those great days of HMYC. There will be some introductions of famous faces from the past and then a night filled with entertainment and great times once again!
There will be large screens showing pictures of the old days ( yes that is you). The screens will show pictures for the year groups in HMYC, 1965-1970….70-75…75-80…80 onwards. This will give you a focal point of your era in Club where you can meet up with your friends.
We have a great band Biker Groove, (offspring of ex members) who will be entertaining us with sounds of the time along with the old disco gear which is still going. (There will be "on the hour every hour" for those who can remember the routine. We will have a practice with Mary Newton)
Sunday 21st 10.45am Service at Heswall Methodist Church
Hopefully conducted by ex members
The cost of the Reunion will be £25 Per head for the Craxton Wood event.
This will cover cost of function suite hire, full buffet and entertainment – if there are any surplus funds accounted for after all payments are completed it will be donated to Orion Club funds.
N.B. You only need to pay £25 per person for the Craxton Wood evening as all other events are complimentary. Whichever events you decide to attend though you must ensure you fill the form on the Event Booking section of the site by clicking this link or using the side menu button.
Partners are welcome to the whole event if they are brave enough!!
